These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dog Translator mobile application ("Dog Translator" or the "App"), the dogtranslator.fun website (the "Website"), and related services provided by APP STAR FAMILY PTE. LTD. ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using Dog Translator or the Website, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Dog Translator or the Website.
Dog Translator is an entertainment application that analyzes recorded dog barks and vocalizations to provide a playful, AI-generated interpretation of what your dog might be communicating.
Dog Translator is provided for entertainment purposes only. It is not a scientifically validated tool for interpreting animal communication, and it should not be relied upon for decisions about your dog's health, behavior, training, or wellbeing.
If you have concerns about your dog's health or behavior, consult a licensed veterinarian or qualified animal behaviorist.
Features may be added, modified, restricted, or removed over time.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Dog Translator.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use Dog Translator only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Dog Translator is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. You agree not to:
We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe Dog Translator or its supporting services are being abused.
When you record your dog's barks or vocalizations within the App, that audio is sent to OpenAI's API for processing to generate a translation result.
By using this feature, you consent to this audio being processed by OpenAI under OpenAI's own terms and privacy practices, which are outside our direct control.
Do not record audio containing identifiable people, private conversations, or content you do not have the right to share.
Dog Translator may offer free and paid features, subscriptions, introductory offers, trials, or one-time purchases.
Purchases made through the iOS App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's applicable terms and conditions.
We do not directly process or store your payment-card information.
Unless otherwise stated by Apple or required by applicable law, subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account subscription settings.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are generally handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies.
Dog Translator uses RevenueCat to help determine subscription and entitlement status.
If you are a consumer located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, applicable law may give you a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days without giving a reason, unless you have expressly consented to immediate access to that content and acknowledged that you lose this withdrawal right once performance begins.
Where you make a purchase through the Apple App Store, Apple's own purchase flow may present this consent and acknowledgment to you directly, and Apple's refund and cancellation policies may also apply to your purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
Dog Translator depends on third-party platforms and services, including services provided by OpenAI, Apple, RevenueCat, and website analytics providers.
We do not control these third-party services, and their availability, functionality, and terms may change independently of us.
The Dog Translator application, Website, branding, visual design, software, original graphics, interfaces, features, and other original material created by us are owned by or licensed to APP STAR FAMILY PTE. LTD. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Dog Translator or any of our intellectual property to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dog Translator and the Website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not warrant that translations produced by Dog Translator are accurate, that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that the App will function as expected with every dog, breed, or environment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection laws.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, APP STAR FAMILY PTE. LTD. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use Dog Translator or the Website, including any decision made in reliance on a translation result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
You may stop using Dog Translator at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to Dog Translator or particular features where reasonably necessary because of a material violation of these Terms, fraudulent or unlawful activity, abuse of our systems, security risks, or legal requirements.
Your use of Dog Translator is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, processed, and shared in connection with the App and related services.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Dog Translator, third-party services, legal requirements, or other operational needs.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms.
Your continued use of Dog Translator after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
