Dog Translator ("we", "us", "our") is operated by APP STAR FAMILY PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in Singapore.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the Dog Translator mobile application ("Dog Translator" or the "App") and our related website, how that information is used, and the choices and rights available to you.

Audio Recordings and Bark Analysis

Dog Translator analyzes recorded barks on your device and sends derived acoustic measurements, such as pitch, frequency, loudness, and timing, for AI interpretation. Raw audio recordings remain on your device and are not uploaded for this analysis.

OpenAI's API does not use data submitted through the API to train its models by default. OpenAI's published default is to retain API inputs and outputs for a limited period, generally up to 30 days, for abuse monitoring and service purposes, after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required by law. This processing is governed by OpenAI's own terms and privacy practices, which are outside our direct control.

When you choose Paw AI, the photo you select is sent for AI breed analysis. In Dog Translator 2.0, AI inputs are sent through our secure backend to OpenAI after you agree to AI processing. Device-verification and subscription information is used to protect access; results may be cached temporarily to complete requests and avoid duplicate charges.

Other Information We Collect and Process

Depending on how you use Dog Translator, we may also process the following types of information:

• Device information — such as device type, operating system version, app version, and identifiers required for app functionality or subscription management.
• Subscription and purchase information — subscription status, product identifiers, purchase entitlement information, and related transaction information. Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
• Information you choose to submit — for example, information you provide when contacting support.

We do not sell your personal information.

Website Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its content and performance. Website analytics are separate from the App itself.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics. Where required by applicable law, including the laws of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we will request your consent before non-essential cookies or tracking technologies are activated, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

YouTube Training Videos and Tracking Choices

Training videos use YouTube. Its embedded player may collect IP address, approximate location, device/browser identifiers, cookies, viewing activity, advertising data, and technical diagnostics. Google may combine this information with data from other companies for personalized advertising and advertising measurement.

In Dog Translator 2.0 build 9 and later, the embedded player loads only after you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, tracking is restricted, or permission is unavailable, the selected video opens in YouTube or your system browser instead. We do not pass your Dog Translator subscription identifier, device-verification proof, AI photo, or bark measurements in that external link. The receiving app or browser follows its own privacy settings.

You can withdraw tracking permission in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, Tracking. Dog Translator stops its embedded player when the app backgrounds and checks permission before loading it again. Earlier builds may use embedded YouTube playback without this permission flow.

Subscription Management

Dog Translator uses RevenueCat to help manage subscription entitlements and purchase status.

RevenueCat may process information such as an app user identifier, subscription product, entitlement status, and transaction information required to determine whether premium features should be available.

Purchases and billing are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment-card information.

How We Use Information

We may use information processed through Dog Translator to:

• Provide and operate Dog Translator's features, including bark translation
• Determine subscription and premium-feature eligibility
• Diagnose errors, crashes, and technical problems reported to us
• Understand how visitors use our website
• Improve features, usability, reliability, and performance
• Respond to support requests and communications
• Prevent misuse and protect the security and integrity of our services

Third-Party Services

Dog Translator relies on third-party services to provide certain features. These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. They may include:

• OpenAI — AI processing of bark measurements, selected photos, and fixed app-generated prompts
• Apple Inc. — App Store and StoreKit

APP STAR FAMILY PTE. LTD. is based in Singapore, and our service providers are located in various countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data originating from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to a country that has not been recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted under applicable law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism.
